monday morning happy to you m’loves!

i hope your weekend brought smiles, unexpected laughter and rest.

i’m crawling {metaphorically and sometimes literally} toward the end of my 200 hour yoga teacher training.

leave it to me to neglect the required reading until the final week. luckily for me it was an easy, interesting read: baron baptiste’s “journey into power“, and even more rad, i only had to read the first seventy pages {double fist pump, followed with a toe-touch into the air}.

in his book, along with detailed, yoga instruction, baron chronicles his catharsis from, in my opinion, a yoga-tool to a true, enlightened yogi. {my assessment stemming from an actual yoga class taken from mr. baptiste over a decade ago}.

baron credits moving into stillness, surrendering his ego and accepting truth to setting him free and transforming his life into a more fulfilled, happier and healing place.

so simple, but incredibly challenging. i love it.

my favorite line in the book is a ghandi quote {of. course}:

“i will not let anyone walk through my mind with dirty feet.”

i’ve been running this through my mind over and over, and over again.

it’s my new hymn.

not only will i prohibit others’ unclean feet from entering my space, but i’ll best keeping MINE spick-and-span too.

monday happy to you m’loves.
